Cylindrical grinding
Plasmajet has a great knowhow in the area of cylindrical grinding.
A dozen machines enable us to grind very diverse geometrical forms. For specific products it is also possible to work with profiled shaping blocks in order to achieve the correct precision.
By frequently treating diverse coatings and hard chrome, there is a big stock of grinding stones. However, we do not only grind coatings, also the grinding of hardened components after having been in the hardening shop is everyday fare.
Strict tolerances on perpendicular tolerance? Cylindrical grinding and head flattening in one fixture ensures perfect perpendicularity.
If necessary, after the grinding, polishing can still be done up to 0,05µRa.
